Even for sci-fi films that for quite obvious reasons wouldn’t come close to holding up today, this is a most nostalgic reminder of how the cheapness for certainly sci-fi alien monster for their time could still find their ways onto our screens. Even in the wake of groundbreaking classics like The War Of The Worlds and The Day The Earth Stood Still, a film like Robot Monster might have had its place in the 50s sci-fi universe. Any remake attempt today, even a very good one, would be most daring.
