  1. What a cinematic range! From Bela Lugosi’s metaphysical black and white, good and evil, to the cruel masculinity of Jack Palance to the perfect blend of gothic villain and romantic hero in Coppola’s version! And then there’s the REALLY weird Andy Warhol version 🙂

      1. Hahaha. Yeah, it was weird but famous. I preferred his less famous Dracula myself. I give Warhol kudos for the best introductory credits of any Dracula film to date, hands down. After the first 15 minutes of fame, though, it deteriorates rapidly into either the worst or the most interesting Dracula ever made … or maybe both … a captivating mix of true excellence and campy failure.
