Classic Cover Art: CREEPY, EPIC, PLANET OF THE APES, VAMPIRELLA
CREEPY and EERIE had a lot of incredible covers in the 70s – this cover has always been one of my favorites.EPIC MAGAZINE was MARVEL’S attempt to compete with WARREN magazines like CREEPY, EERIE and VAMPIRELLA – EPIC did not last as long as those magazines but did feature great artwork while it lasted.MARVEL COMICS took advantage of PLANET OF THE APES popularity in the 70s with an excellent magazine!

Vampirella!! I remember seeing this Vampirella movie with Roger Daltry. It was campy as hell but really charming. It was the first science fiction vampire story I ever encountered!
A great selection of the best cover art ever. Thanks for posting✌🏼 it’s bring back lots of wonderful memories of reading all these titles back in the day.
